Sold-Out Hit For The Attic Film Festival’s Soul Series Screening

Directors impressed with overwhelming turn out of attendees

Austin, Texas (March 11, 2014) – The Attic Film Festival (TAFF), the only local Austin, Texas film festival to showcase independent Christian-based films of faith, hope and redemption, announces that its final Soul Series screening sold-out three days prior to screen date. TAFF showcased its 2013 festival nominated and award-winning short films in the final showcase of the four part Soul Series. This screening took place at the Alamo Drafthouse-Village location on March 10, at 7:00 P.M. for just $5.00. All previous screenings received rave reviews from directors, casts and attendees.

“We are simply thrilled to experience our first sold-out online ticket sales for The Attic Film Festival’s Soul Series short showcase. If this is any indication of what we are going to experience at this year’s festival we are in for a fun and exciting time. We have 28 amazing films that we can’t wait to share with Austin,” says Dr. Jamee Kennedy, The Attic Film Festival’s Executive Director.

The Attic Film Festival’s Soul Series features a screening for just $5.00 every month beginning in November thru March (expect January) leading up to the Festival that will occur on April 4 thru 5 of this year. The Soul Series screenings feature The Attic Film Festival award-winning films that may include guest appearances with directors, screenwriters, cast and producers.
