Open Letter from the Executive Director

Hey All!

We hope you had a wonderful summer and are refreshed and ready for the year ahead.

This summer ATTIC has made some wonderful inroads in supporting many Christian filmmakers as we continue to provide encouragement and resources to these fine folks.

But now it’s time to turn our attention to the year ahead. We want you all know that after careful consideration and tons of prayer, we feel strongly that we should no longer host our annual Competition Festival. We feel the Fest has accomplished everything we originally set out to do and it’s simply time to shut the Competition part of ATTIC down.

We will, however, still keep ATTIC’s non profit status current and will continue producing newsletters, promoting new work, and informing our audiences about new Faith Based and Redemptive films. And, as always, we will support, connect and empower filmmakers to do the best work possible. This may include occasional Special Screenings (which we let you know about), Filmmaker Get Togethers, Informal Dinners and possibly Online Streaming Opportunities.

We may from time to time ask you all for help funding or sponsoring these events. And as always we will be ever so grateful for your generosity.

It has been such a fun ride. And, I personally, am so grateful to you all for your work, support and friendship. But as all good things must end, this too will be a wonderful chapter in the adventure of our lives. Thank you for your kindness, support, friendship and dedication throughout these many fun-filled years. It has been an honor to serve you all.

Blessings
Jamee Kennedy
