The position has a small stipend for each scheduled screening event and an additional stipend for TAFF 2015.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Work directly with EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Planning duties are work at home
Attendance at TAFF STAFF planning meetings
Required attendance for Events (Jan 26th, Feb 16th, March 23rd)
Required attendance for TAFF 2015 (April 24-25)
Friendly and personable
Able to make announcements interesting and fun
Comfortable engaging in front of a live audience
Extensive Experience in public speaking
Experience in hosting, planning and implementing Question and Answer sessions for Filmmakers
Able to improvise
Reliable car or transportation
Committed to TAFF mission
Knowledge of Film industry
Degree in RTF, Communications, Theatre or Public Relations

Position Filled

DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING

The position has a small stipend and commission for each donation/sponsorship procured (excluding Award Sponsorships.)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Work at home
Flexible schedule

Previous experience in fundraising
Knowledge of non profit fund raising techniques
Sales background strongly preferred
Attendance at TAFF STAFF meetings
Responsible for securing/ managing/ recording donations/sponsorships for TAFF events in 2014-2015
Work closely with BOOKKEEPER and EXEC DIRECTOR
Manage and create fundraising team
Follow up donations/sponsorships with thank you notes, donation rewards etc.
Bookkeeping and recording of donations/sponsorships
Secure Award donations

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

The position has a small stipend for each scheduled screening event and an additional stipend for TAFF 2015.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Planning duties are work at home
Flexible hours for planning duties
Attendance at TAFF STAFF planning meetings
Required attendance for screenings and TAFF 2015 (screenings are mostly in the evenings)
Friendly and personable
Work closely with EVENT MANAGER
Secure and schedule volunteers for all scheduled TAFF events
Manage communication with volunteers and EVENT MANAGER
Create and maintain TAFF volunteer list

EVENT MANAGER

The position has a small stipend for each scheduled screening event and an additional stipend for TAFF 2015

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Attendance at TAFF STAFF planning meetings
Able to attend all scheduled TAFF Screening Events and FEST (TAFF screens on average 1 film a month plus 2 days in April for FEST)
Able to organize event duties, volunteers and stations
Able to use Square ups and i-pads
Able to problem solve and think on your feet
Manage TAFF volunteers at all events
Work closely with VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR and EXEC DIRECTOR
Run events effectively and efficiently

TAFF BOOKKEEPER

The position offers a competitive hourly rate and is perfect for stay at home professionals.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Occasional attendance at TAFF STAFF meetings

Workload is expected to be 1-2 days a month

PROMOTIONS AND MARKETING TEAM MEMBER

These are unpaid volunteer positions who assist in promoting TAFF events.

Work with MARKETING DIRECTOR as part of Marketing Team Strategy

Volunteer Coordinator

Recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteers for all TAFF Events.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Works with the Events Manager to identify necessary volunteer positions needed for each event.

Media / Website Intern

(Must be available to work 5-7 hours a week. This is an unpaid position)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

– Work with TAFF Webmaster as part of the media team
– Flexible hours; work from home
– Experience with, or willingness to learn HTML, PHP, Final Cut Pro, CSS, JS
– Experience with, or willingness to learn, media creation and graphic design

Assist in:
– Maintenance of Website
– Creating Trailers for upcoming Screenings
– Creating slide shows for Events

Staff Qualifications

Possess a strong desire to spread the Gospel via film.
Possess a broad knowledge of Christian film.
Possess a heart to serve others.
Possess office and computer skills such as MacOS programs, social media, phone skills, data entry, and office correspondence skills.
Are 18 years and up with a high school diploma.
Demonstrate a strong ability to meet deadlines.
Be self motivated and self directed.

Staff Requirements

All Staff are required to attend a 2 hour training session.
All Staff are required to attend all events hosted by TAFF.
All Staff are required to have access to a computer, printer, and fax.
