| Synopsis: | The garden is a place where we meet people and grow relationships. The garden also provides participants with a basic purpose “to tend the garden” Gen 2:15. For those who are either seeking support through community or trying to provide food for their families the garden is a basic tool God has provided to meet our basic needs. Our community is praying for God’s direction and strength. As a community Grow Together strives to gain ground in the lives of the people who participate in our community. The first step is involvement and we look forward to serving with you and seeing God use your gifts to bring heaven here on earth. Romans 15:13
Our ministry is providing skills to support participants in order to gain ground in their walk with Christ. Christ has given us the gift of community and to use that gift to support each other as the body of Christ. Through our serving we want to show Christ’s light to those we serve. We provide support through GED classes, ESL classes (rivercityhopestreet.org), leadership classes/training, provide foods to families from the gardens, we have garden classes, we have a COOP that lends tool/manpower/education. |
