The short has been in 7 international Festivals receiving “director’s Choice” at the San Diego Christian Film Fest and other nominations for Best Short Drama, Best Score, Best Sound, and Best Actress for this inspirational story. Joni’s goal is to be an asset to the entertainment industry as a positive role model, bringing to life characters in film that resonate within the souls of an audience.
SYNOPSIS: A young girl’s life is suddenly torn apart. Forced to leave her childhood home, Abigail Allmen and her mother Marla, leave the city to live with her Grandfather at his sprawling ranch in the Kansas countryside. Through a series of circumstances Abigail discovers she has a special gift.
