All proceeds will be used to provide therapy for female victims of sexual abuse.

Victims of sexual abuse often go years without speaking about their experiences. Therapy, the chance to talk about what happened to them, is often the first definitive step toward real recovery for them, ” says Toni McKinley, founder and program director of Crowns of Hope. “For many, the costs involved in therapy are keeping them from taking that first step.

“I use my art work to tell stories that will inspire people to become set free from emotional and mental bondage. This fundraiser is an opportunity for me to not only do this through my painting but through the finances that it will produce as well,” says Rhea Brown director and artist of Phoenix Art Institute.

This event will feature numerous artists from Austin and the surrounding area. The artists work will include oil & acrylic paintings plus many other types of media. The event will culminate with an auction and the beautiful music of Taylor Rae Stearns.

Crowns of Hope is an Austin based nonprofit whose sole mission is to help female victims of sexual abuse receive therapy.
